Meeting of Project Governing Board was held on 31 March 2021 under the Chairmanship of Sri R K Tewari, Chief Secretary, Govt of Uttar Pradesh, to review the progress of UP Core Road Network Development Project. The Chief Secretary directed all officials to complete works with the stipulated deadline.
The Board was informed that there was a proposal to appoint consultants as safety engineering management advisor, safety engineering design specialist and a safety engineering consultant firm. The terms of reference for these are being finalized.
A virtual Road Safety training has been organised on 24 March 2021, at 11 am. The training shall be given by Road Safety Auditor, Sri Bhushan Kumar Merigala. The link for the same shall be shared separately.
1. The Government of Uttar Pradesh, through Govt of India has received financing from the World Bank amount of US$ 400 million toward the cost of the Uttar Pradesh Core Road Network Development Project and it intends to apply part of the proceeds to payments for consulting services.
2. The consulting services (“the Services”) include supporting the client with functions of Authority Engineer including Construction and Maintenance Supervision of 220 kms of State Highways in conformity and quality of the works and the existence and the compliance with the relevant procedures of contractual documents of UPCRNDP.

Civil contractor organised an awareness camp for HIV/AIDS, non use of child labour, gender based violence and other gender issues on SH-93 (Gola Shahjahanpur).
World bank aided UPCRNDP launch workshop is proposed on 27 March, 2020. This workshop will be attended by PS, PWD, PS Transport, ACS home and other senior Government officials of the state.
